Easy Protein Bagels

Kathy & Katie’s protein bagels

Bagel-shaped pastries cooling on a wire rack, topped with poppy seeds and raisins, on a speckled granite countertop.

They are a new favorite and SO easy. They are perfect for a quick breakfast to fuel your day. You can make them quicker than running to a fast food stop! You can modify them to be gluten free or add in whatever mix ins you like.

1 c flour (we’ve done regular or Bobs Red Mill GF)

1 c Greek yogurt (can use full fat or zero)

2 T baking powder

Mix, form into 4 balls. Roll and form bagel. Let rise 15-30 minutes. Brush with egg white wash. Top with everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds if desired. Bake at 400 25-30 min.

To make cinnamon raisin, mix the flour, greek yogurt and baking powder. Add in a splash of cinnamon and raisins and work into dough. The raisins won't attach easily but they will bake into place well.
