Mammograms are a hot topic. While we encourage our patients to make their own decisions about their healthcare, we still believe in prevention.
For patients who choose not to use mammograms, we offer an alternative with thermography. Thermascan of Michigan comes to our office 3x per year to offer appointments. They do breast, thyroid and/or carotid scans. These scans use cameras that detect heat signals, possibly years before cancer is seen in traditional mammography. They can be especially useful in those with dense breast tissue. They are read and graded, and can be compared year to year.
They are coming again on Monday August 4th and Tuesday November 4th, 2025, with appointments all day. The scans are $230, paid at the time of service, you can use HSA and FSA.
