If you or a loved one are planning on surgery, consider getting an IV before hand!
No matter how "minor" the surgery, it is still a major stress on the body. This means not only is our immune system down, but we are exposed to more germs in hospitals, plus we have to heal. This can lead to postoperative infections, slow wound healing and slower recoveries.
We suggest at a minimum, getting an immune boost or high dose vitamin C IV within the week before surgery. Ideally, we'd suggest getting an IV 3-4 times in the month preoperatively.
We can also do in office IVs after surgery to help recover, using Katie's cocktail or antioxident boosts like glutathione or NAD. We also offer mobile IV and conveniently come to your home.
