Our Wellness Center offers a complementary approach to cancer care, offering adjunctive therapies to support you and your loved ones

A cancer diagnosis can leave us feeling powerless, often with more questions than answers. Our team can be of benefit during your cancer journey, whether you are in active treatment or remission. We use an integrative approach to cancer care, to help you heal mind, body and spirit.

Acupuncture & Functional Medicine

My goal, as an acupuncturist, is to keep my patients healthy enough to continue with their treatments, whether it chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery. Each treatment is individualized. Acupuncture may be used prophylactically to prevent side effects. Acupuncture can help with nausea and vomiting, pain, xerostomia (dry mouth), neuropathy, insomnia, fatigue, skin changes and digestion support. Acupuncture can also support low blood cell counts. Dr. Katie also practices functional medicine and can offer labwork and supplementation for underlying leaky gut, nutrient deficiencies etc. as well as dietary and lifestyle work.

Counseling

Our counseling staff can support the stress, anxiety, fear and emotional toll on both the patient and the family.

High Dose Vitamin C

We also offer high dose vitamin C in our IV Hydration Clinic. This can often be used along with chemotherapy and other treatments to support the immune system, based on the Riordan protocol. We also offer other immune support, NAD, glutathione/antioxidant support and alpha lipoic acid.

Massage & Facials

Our team also offers specialty oncology facials and massages, with years of experience with these specific needs. We may also add on sauna treatments, red light therapy and PEMF mat.

Thermascan 

We offer Thermascan breast thermography 3x per year to offer a radiation free screening for breast health.

Doula Support 

Our death doulas can help end of life support. They provide non medical emotional, spiritual and and practical support for both care planning and during final days.

Our services are not meant to be a replacement for treatment but can safely be done while undergoing any concurrent therapies. We can create customized care plans for you and your loved ones.
