We have been using foods to make dyed Easter eggs for years. It's been some experimentation but our favorite colors are as follows:
Beets- red (they were brighter at first)
Orange- yellow onion peels
Yellow- turmeric
Green- turmeric + purple cabbage
Blue- purple cabbage
One of our early experimental batches- not the best results that time
The colors don’t stay bright as long as artificial coloring but we still love them. Little by little, we’re working towards a healthier life. Can you eliminate one fake ingredient or fake fragrance in your life? Small switches add up to big health changes over time.
